How to Upload your Website files using Windows XP.
Open "My Network Places" and choose "Add a Network Place" . The wizard starts.
Click "Next" on the windows following until you see the " What is the Address..." window. In the box enter :-
FTP://www.yoursitename.com
and click next. In the next window untick the box "Log on Anonymously" and enter your FTP username and click Next. In the next window choose any name for the shortcut XP will put in the " My Network Places" window and click Next. Then click Finish.
When you need to upload files to your website host, just click on the icon you created in "My Network Places" and copy and paste as normal.
